⚠️ Bad experience as a tenant. I rented a room at Casa Tavari (La Bomba). I left a $4,000 deposit and from the first day the internet constantly failed, which generated extra expenses for me to be able to work. The person who rented it to me told me that if I found a replacement, they would return my deposit. I found someone (who is still living there today) and yet they only returned $1,000 to me. In addition, I filed a complaint with the Puerto Escondido Prosecutor's Office to reach an agreement and they did not show up. Everything I mention is supported by evidence. I strongly recommend caution before renting here.
