I stayed at El Mundito for two months and I loved the atmosphere! Super entrepreneurial and creative, like a true startup factory. After working on my projects, we often went with the Mundito family to the beach, went out to dinner or simply enjoyed some beers in the garden (which is incredible) or on the rooftop terrace. The internet works 100%, both in the rooms and in the common areas, which is perfect if you come to work remotely. Hanna is an excellent host, always attentive to making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Plus, she has lots of contacts and helps you with any information or recommendations very quickly. Thank you Mundito, I will definitely be back soon!

I lived at Mundito for 6 months and it was a great experience. Between the cool restaurants and bars of la Punta and the clubs and party from Zicatela, it is well located at the heart of the chill Tamarindos area. During my stay there, I met over 30 travelers from different parts of the world. Everybody was superfriendly and chill, I became good friends with most of them and even met people whom made it into my heart and will be long life lasting relationships for me. This was a complete game changer during my stay in Puerto. I was able to experience incredible adventures and lots of fun with pretty cool people. I made a family at Mundito. I felt at home there. I highly recommend this place for anybody who's looking to live in a chill and cool place, very well located and is looking to meet other fellow travelers/digital nomads.

Mundito was my home for 5 months and I had such a special time. Living within a few minutes of the beach was non negotiable for me so Mundito is just perfect. Perfectly located between the beach, La Punta and Zicatela with tiendas, public pool, the collectivo and restaurants all so close. You want bar vibes? Head left. You want a club? Head right. Lovely to be able to work outside and hang out with everyone. I couldn't be happier with my housemates. Strangers become family 💓 unmatched vibes 🤩

I'm Mexican and currently live in Canada, and every time I travel I think the same thing: I wish there were more Munditos all around the world. Mundito was my refuge during COVID and also after. It was a place that sustained me during a very fragile moment in my life. Even though I didn't stay there because a friend lived around the corner, I always felt part of its community. There I met incredible people, made real friendships and lived moments that stay with you forever. It's a space that makes you feel accompanied, supported and at home, even when you're far from everything you know. Hanna, the owner, has an enormous heart. The way she takes care of the place and the people makes everything feel human, warm and authentic. Mundito is not just a place, it's a home in Puerto Escondido. A space where community happens naturally and where, even far from everything, you feel at home.

I spent the most amazing month at El Mundito over Christmas and New Year. My room was beautiful with plenty of space to work, as well as the co-working space outside which I loved. But what made my stay so incredible were the people there - we had so much fun and I was truly sad when it was time to leave. Hanna looked after us so well and is fantastic at building community and making us feel at home. Needless to say I'll be back!

Such a special place full of amazing people. I spent one month here with my partner and had the best time! Highly recommend for nomads looking for a spot close to the beach with a relaxed atmosphere.

I spent a month living and working from Mundito. Walking distance to an amazing beach, comfortable rooms and, the most important, great vibes all around. Mundito really feels like family and Hannah makes sure that you have the best posible experience. Totally recommend it 🫶🏻

What a beautiful and welcoming community! My boyfriend and I stayed in mundito for a month, and Hannah (the host) was always checking in with us to make sure we were having a good stay 🤗 This is a great place to meet friendly and interesting people from all around the world 🌎🌍 The accomodations are rustic and right in the middle of nature, so be aware that there will be bugs! 😉 The option to have AC is available, and that's a big plus for the very hot Puerto weather 🌡️ The beautiful and abundant shade from the trees and the short walk to most main beaches in Puerto makes this a great option to stay too!

El Mundito is a phenomenal place to ground into the traveler community in Puerto Escondido. Hanna is very knowledgeable and the tenets are all nice people from around the world. 10/10, unforgettable experience.

Stayed at Mundito for a month and some change. The place attracted me because I was looking for community, and community is what I found. While I was there the place felt like home, with someone always around to have a nice or interesting conversation with. Hanna tries to organize or prompt events almost weekly, and that really adds to the fun and the comfortable feeling you get. I met really cool people, and made good friends. I was working remotely, and while there are occasional power outages (many outside the control of the property) they were manageable and didn't affect my work. Give Mundito a try, you'll meet pretty cool people in a pretty cool town.

I stayed at El Mundito for 40 days and it was truly an incredible experience. The atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home, and the people I met there were simply amazing. I was working remotely during my stay, and being able to surf almost every day was a dream come true. The location is also perfect: there are little convenience shops just around the corner for all the basics, and you can easily walk to both Zicatela and La Punta. Thank you, El Mundito family, for these unforgettable moments — I’ll carry them with me wherever I go!

El mundito was the perfect place to stay while working remotely which was my main consern as I stayed in Puerto Escondido for a month. The people were very nice and cool. I made really good friends who I will definitely stay in contact with. Staying at el mundito was a very cool experience!

El mundito is super close to the beach and the Zicatela's market. A good and nice place to stay a season. It helped me a lot recovering energies after a long trip. I wish I could stay longer. People are amazing and the manager is so kind and nice. Hope I could get back to see the Kitty cat.

Phenomenal experience! Right by the coast in between the center of town and La punta! Easy access to everything you need! Stay was amazing, great atmosphere, and comfortable living space! The desk and chair made it very easy to work remotely! Hanna was the most accommodating host! 11/10 would recommend

Loved my stay in El Mundito! The rooms have everything you need including private bathrooms. The vibe of the courtyard is great for doing work or relaxing. Just a short 4 minute walk to the beach where you can watch sunset. Quickly made friends and Hanna is the best!!

Best co-living I’ve stayed in, amazing location and perfect for anyone new to Puerto and seeking a community - Hanna was great and organised tons of events - would 100% stay here again!
