Excellent place

The Florafuana community is unique in Tulum. It is well-planned. There is continuity of design and aesthetics. It offers an outstanding location - close to downtown (Tulum Centro) and easy drives to just about everything. It is quieter than other communities and feels very safe. The homes provide privacy and security. All utilities are underground, further enhancing the aesthetics of the community. Another huge plus is that there are no HOA fees. We lived here for 18+ months full time and felt we made an outstanding choice in the community location, the quality of the finished product and the attentiveness of the developer (Habitat Construccion). Definitely "5 Stars" in my book.

We love our home in Florafauna! Moving from the U.S. to Tulum and building our dream home was initially a daunting prospect. However, the entire process turned out to be smooth and stress-free, thanks to the incredible team at Habitat Developments. From start to finish, they ensured every detail was handled with professionalism and care. The community at Florafauna is not only beautifully designed but also welcoming and vibrant. Moving to Tulum specifically Flora Fauna has been nothing but the most incredible experience. The community, amenities, and the homes are what make this place so special. Everyone in the neighborhood is so kind and helpful plus you get a discount at the best beach club called Cinco. This neighborhood is unbeatable.

While the houses initially seemed beautiful, and the neighbors were friendly, my experience was marred by several concerning issues. Firstly, there were significant delays in the delivery of my house, extending well beyond the promised date by a whole year, resulting in substantial financial losses for me. Additionally, the contracts were structured in a manner that absolved the company from any accountability for warranty issues, leaving me to deal with ongoing plumbing, electrical, and structural problems. To make matters worse, I entrusted them with renting out my house, only to find out they were using it as their personal home for their family without paying any rent for several months, effectively living there as squatters. They're now exploiting a contractual loophole in an attempt to claim ownership. It's disheartening to realize that the company, who once claimed to be my friends, would take advantage of someone in such a manner. Be ware ! They are not to be trusted !

Flora Fauna is an amazing place, community and we love our home. The Team at Habitat (the developers) are responsive and always work with the homeowners during the build process and, most importantly, after you move in. We love the beach club, Cinco and strongly recommend buying here.

I've been living in Tulum for 12 years and these houses have the best quality I've seen in the area. Besides, the developers are truly local and have created a beautiful community. ✨
