House in Riviera Tulum

Riviera is becoming a refuge for stray animals.... Also, everyone has multiple pets that they don't train. It's becoming a disaster. Impossible to sleep properly

I've been living here for 10 years and the security guards are the worst. Because I'm a minor, they never let me in even though I see them daily and tell them I'm a resident. When friends come over and I go to the gatehouse to tell them they're coming with me, they don't care and sometimes make us wait HOURS at the entrance because my dad isn't home, even though I tell them to escort me since it's not far at all. They don't care and treat us like criminals. I hope they train the security guards NOW. I don't know, but throughout all this time I've always had the same problem.

The guards are the worst and the administration even more so, they have absolutely no manners, they are arrogant, rude and dismissive, they treat you like a criminal, terrible experiences every time I go to do some business or visit a property, they just give a little bit of power to uneducated people and they feel like owners of the place. I'm attaching a photo of one of the nefarious and intransigent guards.

This is the best gated community in Tulum!! Away from hassle and crowds! Private and safe we love it here!!! Renting an air b&b here should be your first choice!

Safe, gated and quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a long term stay. Better prices than other neighborhoods and lots of parking. Tennis courts, football field, dog park, yoga shala. Power doesn't go out as much as the rest of Tulum. Definitely stay here instead of the other neighborhoods.

Very nice, I really liked the structure and the views are fantastic, the service didn't seem anything special to me but it's acceptable.

A quiet place to rest would give it 5 stars, if it were more central and had transportation routes.

Riviera Tulum is an area located north of Tulum's main avenue. A developing urbanization with many houses, villas, new condominiums and many new projects to be developed in the coming years. The place is quite peaceful and apparently monitored since it has two entrances with control booths. But here too, there have been frequent reports of people stealing, as is somewhat common throughout Tulum. Personally, I increasingly prefer the Veleta area.

One of the best developments in Tulum with underground services and HOA. Very family-friendly and peaceful.
