The only park in the centre of the tourist area. It's a little square that the vehicles drive around if they want to pass from Av10 to Av20 (approximately half a block in size) and it's a pleasant walk with trees, squirrels, a stony pathway and a few benches to rest. One of the few places in the town to walk the dogs that is not entirely concrete.

The building is in a decent location, staff on the grounds are polite and the unit itself is aesthetically nice. The unit was fully equipped kitchen (no oven, but they did bring us a toaster oven) and the stay started off nice but we did run into some issues. One of the days we lost water for over 30 hrs with no real answers until it was fixed. Shortly after that during the night the AC had just shut off, we were told to switch off all the breakers to reset the AC however over the holidays (thankfully we had cooler temps or the unit would have been a furnace) the AC was shutting off every hour on the hour. Initially we were met with some ridiculous response; that there are too many people in playa del carmen at the moment so that's why the AC keeps shutting off (we spoke to a couple neighbours, they were not having issues) We were East facing, so Sunrise, if you've every lived or stayed anywhere facing the Sunrise you know your place can get very hot. We kept the blinds closed, adjusted the thermostat to a warmer temp and lowered the fan setting so it wouldn't shut off, just to keep the air moving as nothing was being done to fix it. They only had someone come to look at the system the day we were packing to check-out. This place is not cheap, we did get a long term price but I would reconsider booking this place if you are paying 100-200 a night as there are A LOT of options in town. Also probably the most expensive laundry I have ever paid for lol 50 pesos for a wash and another 50 for a dry (so 3.50 CAD each) there are 2 washers and 2 dryers in the basement. You collect tokens from the front desk staff. I have stayed in over 100 apartments/hotels all over the world and considering the price I guess I expected different.

The studios are ok but it was poorly designed from my point of view. The pool is huge but not at all enough space or lounge chairs for more then 10 persons. I can imagine In season you must get to the pool at 9am to get a chair. Plus this condo allows children so if you don’t mind the noise and screaming you are all set.
