Apartment Available Until December 2nd

The place was super comfortable, the fact that we could lie down on the carpet comfortably since it had a yoga mat delighted us, it had everything in kitchen utensils (even strips against mosquitoes), it's very complete (it even has assigned parking), quite private since it has a bathroom in one bedroom and another separate bathroom (we were 3 adults, one child and a baby), the noise was minimal in my opinion, they were finishing construction of some apartments across the corner so about 2 times a week we heard construction workers but that's something not in the host's control so if you're sensitive to noise I recommend bringing earplugs (I barely heard anything because I was so tired at the end of my day), the air conditioning worked super well (there's one in the living room and each bedroom plus fans), the beds seemed comfortable to my taste, we couldn't try the pool because we forgot it was there haha. I will definitely stay here again

The stay was great. The apartment was exactly as described. We had a small issue with the gas supply due to a malfunction — it happens. Even from a distance, Penelope took care of everything and the problem was sorted out quickly and without any drama. If you’re looking for a calm place that feels like home and is close to everything, this is the spot.

Penelope was great with accommodating us for check in and check out. She was often good at responding to any questions in a timely manner. The location was a good 10 min walk to the beach- which was easy. Other restaurants and grocery are very close by. The street is somewhat noisy in evening (motorcycles) or later morning with construction. The cats do come around to be fed but are friendly. Building itself was very quiet. Overall an enjoyable stay. <br/>Pros: items left than you can use, laundry, comfy beds, helpful host.<br/>Cons: not as minimal as staged photos are - clutter. The balcony is a shared balcony just outside of the entrance. Its not its own balcony off unit (seems little diff look in pics). <br/>Still a nice place to stay for a few days!

Easy check in. Great, walkable location that's close to 5th street but far enough to avoid the noise. There is some construction but we were awake before it started. Rooftop pool was nice and we appreciated having AC in each bedroom.

We loved our stay in Penelope's beautiful apartment. The interior space is well arranged. The two bathrooms are very practical and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooftop terrace is pleasant and the small balcony in front of the accommodation's entrance is very convenient. The neighborhood is really cool. You feel like you're in Mexico and not in a resort. The area is quiet and it's pleasant to get around. Good typical restaurants located nearby allow you to avoid the hustle and bustle of Fifth Avenue... Penelope responds quickly to messages and manages to help even from a distance... Thank you again for everything.

I travel frequently to Playa del Carmen for work and this is by far my favorite stay so far. Loved the location, quiet, safe and close to 5th Avenue without the noise. The apartment is full of great energy, kitchen was very well equipped, the beds are super comfy and the tree outside just keeps it fresh and pretty. Host was always responsive and helpful, her list of recommendations is amazing. Did have a bit of trouble finding the building at arrival, so request G Maps coordinates beforehand. Penelope's place is just like in the photos, great amenities, and with a lot of extra items to cock or even to eat.<br/>Always great communication, and the place have some beautiful art made by host. <br/>Fully recommended

Welcoming house fully equipped just steps away from the main streets, Penelope very kind, it was a fantastic stay, highly recommended.

The apartment is the same as the photographs, the kitchen is very well equipped and Penelope gave us help throughout the stay with the minor inconveniences. Check in was super easy and the location is suitable for the plans we had. We were super happy and we would surely come back! 😌☺️
