Apartamento en Tulum Selva Norte

Living in Selva Norte has been a very balanced experience. What I value most is the feeling of being truly inside the jungle, the environment feels green, peaceful and well integrated with the architecture, which translates into peace and a relaxed atmosphere. The amenities serve their purpose well: the common areas are well thought out, the pools are pleasant and, in general, everything invites you to disconnect without having to leave the condominium. It's a place where you can spend the entire day without feeling like you're missing something. In terms of security, it gives me great peace of mind knowing it's a gated condominium with 24/7 surveillance. The controlled access is noticeable and adds a lot, especially for those of us who value privacy and security in Tulum. One point that really makes a difference is the restaurant within the development. The cuisine is very good, with varied options and accessible prices, which allows you to take care of meals without complications. The location also works in your favor: you're away from the noise and hustle and bustle, but at the same time just 5 minutes from downtown Tulum, so getting around is easy when you need to. That balance between tranquility and proximity is, for me, one of the best things about Selva Norte. The Penthouses are incredible, they have a very large Roof Top, with bathroom and plunge pool and grill, a true luxury, with views towards the impressive Jungle.

It is wonderful, I feel the magic of Tulum, a place where you find peace and harmony.

AVOID. Pure appearances and "management" simply dedicate themselves to applying "gaslighting" techniques to avoid any responsibility… Both 2/2 cenotes have been green SINCE THE HURRICANE IN 2021… and they are not going to fix them… . The gym only has 1 air conditioner that barely works and the treadmill is broken (something they get upset about and deny when you report it). -The trash container is overflowing to the front door! Walking 10 minutes to carry several bags of trash is ridiculous. There are multiple concrete speed bumps that are too high (sufficient to damage any vehicle that isn't a tall SUV/4x4..). Your vehicle will bottom out several times over a short distance. Security is not useful, they cause problems when you enter and problems for your visitor… and the administration is worse. The administration completely lacks customer service, they are rude, arrogant and act like they ARE DOING you a favor by letting you breathe the air in their "residential.. poorly done and poorly managed…". In fact, if you approach them to point out any of these problems… they create problems for you and "informative letters according to them for nothing..". + THERE IS PRACTICALLY NO AVAILABLE PARKING because of them themselves…. It's easier to make a false informative letter because someone pointed that out than to solve the problem….. The few PUBLIC parking spaces "available for the condominium buildings... are half occupied by broken vehicles or... permanently occupied by who knows what hidden vehicles or by motorcycles... and obviously it is a team EXCLUSIVELY OF MEN. Naturally they lie, apply gaslighting, and create problems for you by pointing out the issues… and worse, they tell you... "you're simply renting, you have no right to ask about any of that... we only give attention and priority to owners". They use GASLIGHTING techniques when you call their attention to real issues… THE FUNNIEST THING.. when I mentioned all the trash around there, I was told YOU ARE FORBIDDEN FROM TAKING PHOTOS HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE PRIVATE PROPERTIES.. (the photos were of trash outside the properties or in public transit areas..) they told me.. "IT'S BECAUSE OF THE RACCOONS"... of course, THE RACCOONS... leave bags of plastic full of trash, construction materials, rotten cut trees, piles of moldy leaves and wood around… the raccoons also don't fix what doesn't work like the elevators and gym equipment…those raccoons... seriously, these people have no INTEGRITY, BACKBONE, VALUES, EDUCATION OR COMMITMENT whatsoever to do their job... avoid. Too bad because the location in the jungle is beautiful, too bad with the SELVA NORTE people who take away the beauty…

Completely away from the center in the middle of the jungle with its own pool and cenote, beautiful place

Esta es una joya escondida en la Jungla. Soy propietario de un condominio aquí y para mí es un pequeño paraíso. Me encanta que esté escondido en la Jungla, las piscinas son hermosas, los condominios y las villas son muy bonitos. Me encanta volver aquí.

A beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. Its rustic and natural style creates a very special, silent and relaxing experience. Perfect for those who enjoy nature and an authentic and peaceful atmosphere.

My experience as a condominium resident has been very negative. Over time, the condominium has deteriorated noticeably, which in my opinion is due to poor administration and unprofessional management. Decisions seem to be made without clear criteria or planning, which has generated disorganization and a tense atmosphere among residents. From my point of view, this situation has seriously affected quality of life, coexistence, and the perception of property value, which has progressively deteriorated. This is a personal opinion based on my direct experience, but I consider it important to say clearly: it is not a place to come and rest. If you are looking for tranquility, order, and good management, I would seriously recommend evaluating other options before choosing this condominium.

The surrounding streets are still not finished, they are unpaved so you have to dodge many holes. Within the complex there are very few parking spaces so it is difficult or impossible to find availability during high season. I went in January 2026

Excellent place to stay and rent an Airbnb, it is recommended to have a car or motorcycle rental since taxis are somewhat expensive.

Highly recommended place to visit in Tulum, especially for families and people who want to disconnect in the middle of the wonderful Riviera Maya Jungle. Most accommodations in Tulum are designed as if they were city apartments on the beach, Selva Norte retains all the elements of the jungle and nature. I highly recommend it for long and short stays, and it also has a restaurant within the complex.
