Estudio en La Veleta

Review based on my personal experience (3 months of rent). From the first week we reported that the shower only gave ice-cold water or, if we turned on the boiler, it was too hot. The owner said he didn't have resources to fix it and never repaired it. Two months later, the water pressure almost disappeared and bathing became almost impossible. The building is poorly managed: we saw no maintenance and several areas look deteriorated. Inside the condo, basic plumbing problems were not resolved either. At the end, the deposit was not returned "due to lack of money". When we had already found another apartment, the broker appeared trying to fix it and then charge us rent, despite having previously offered us a free month instead of the deposit. Additionally, they tried to charge us late payment penalties claiming it was in the contract, when the landlord himself hadn't even respected that contract first. All of this without really caring about our deposit or the contract, now that we were in another apartment. In summary: I don't recommend it for long-term or short-term rent (Airbnb). Excellent rooms with private jacuzzi, one of the best places where I have stayed with my family. It is close to places to eat. Very clean, comfortable and pleasant.

I loved it, it's an experience that I would love to experience again and it's suitable for the whole family.

We had a bad experience, the pool is not in service, which they do not mention when making the reservation, the place is generally dirty, from the moment you enter there are leaves all over the floor, we thought we could overlook that, but when we arrived at the room they left us a used bar of soap with hair on it, the key to one of the bedrooms sprays water, so the first person who opened it got completely wet, the place smelled bad, nothing clean, like humidity, the next day our things got wet, since water seeps through the window, when we noticed it we realized the damage is very extensive because the furniture is completely damaged by water and not to mention the upper bedroom flooded for the same reason, for a place with 4.5 stars it leaves much to be desired, in the end we had to shout out the window, because the lock wouldn't open and if you call reception nobody answers, it just rings and rings until the answering machine picks up, overall very disappointed with the place.

Al principio estábamos muy entusiasmados con la habitación grande y las camas, la piscina privada en el porche. Realmente hicieron todo lo posible para ayudarnos con cada problema que surgió, pero...: el wifi no funcionaba muy bien, la jacuzzi de abajo tenía la misma temperatura que una piscina normal, no estaba climatizada, el inodoro se atascó para nosotros...

Digamos que obtienes lo que pagas, pero después de leer las reseñas pensamos que tuvimos suerte, mejor suerte la próxima vez. Al llegar era fin de semana sin personal en el sitio, dificultad para abrir la puerta principal, la piscina era un desastre, no llevaría a mi perro a nadar en ella, en segundo lugar el jacuzzi era horrible y se veía muy viejo, el agua en las habitaciones apenas salía así que pudimos ducharnos encima de tardar 15 minutos en calentarse. No me dejes olvidar, al lado de nuestro Airbnb había un sitio de construcción en marcha, ¡nunca más México! Si lo hago, definitivamente sería Cancún, Tulum definitivamente estaba en el vecindario, además de un montón de perros caminando con las patas rotas jaja... trabajo desagradable

A great place to stay with an autonomous concept. With very nice rooms.

I booked with Airbnb, but I wanted to leave a review because the onsite staff were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We got a lot of stories and culture from the man downstairs. HIs family had moved to Tulum a long time ago and in the area, we were staying in, it used to be Jungle. He was amazing. Thank you for making our experience amazing!

An incredible place! Our room had a jacuzzi so we didn't use the pool but the water was barely suitable for the climate, the place has a very good ambiance, in front there is a restaurant called el galán where we only went to have cocktails! If you have a car it's the best option to get around since it's far from the main street restaurants, it has all the amenities and is quite spacious, I definitely recommend it and the jacuzzi is the best!

Este lugar podría ser fácilmente 4.8 de 5 estrellas excepto por el hecho de que la oficina estaba cerrada durante el horario comercial, mala comunicación, el televisor de pantalla grande tenía una línea vertical en él y no tenía conexión, la habitación huele a humedad, la piscina privada estaba fría y los chorros no funcionaban o si lo hacían no había instrucciones, si la gerencia hiciera algunas correcciones menores y mejorara la comunicación en inglés y español, ¡este sería un excelente lugar!

Located two blocks from the main street of Veleta, Moots has delighted us. Its atmosphere is super calm and it is close to everything, it even has a restaurant on the corner (El Galan), a cafeteria next to it (Adoratta), a pharmacy across the street and a grocery store one block away. We will definitely return!

The photos on Booking look very nice, but the truth is the mattress is all crooked, you can't rest like that, the fan full of dirt. We turned it on and all the dust started falling on the bed... Terrible. The pool smelled strongly of chlorine when we arrived. Everything was uncomfortable and we wanted to leave already.
