Excelente ubicación, apartamento y la mejor piscina en la azotea... jamás

Horrible, I wouldn't go back. I rented through Airbnb. The power started failing from the first day I arrived. I thought it was due to power cuts on the beach and didn't report it, but no, the apartment had an electrical fault. From the first day I detected a strange smell in the sheets and pillows. I didn't say anything because it was minimal since with the air conditioning on it didn't smell, unless I put my nose directly on the sheets. The power began to fail and go out for increasingly longer intervals until one night it went out from 8 PM and when I was already in bed it started to get hot and obviously the sheets began to smell worse, the armchair too. I raised my complaint with the hosts and they wanted to fix the power the next day. That is, it was an electrical fault in the apartment that can't be fixed in 5 minutes. I wasn't going to waste my time waiting for their technician to show up the next day and finish God knows when. Anyway, I asked for my refund. At first they were somewhat intense, but when it couldn't be resolved and Airbnb intervened, they apologized for the inconveniences and convinced me to lower what I was asking for in reimbursement. I still agreed and in my Airbnb evaluation, the host lady practically came at me with everything, arguing that I didn't want to agree to any repair options, that they gave me 90% of the refund when they only gave me half. Arguing that the electrical fault was due to excessive air conditioning use (I mean, sorry, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to use it). Unfortunately, these types of apartments are built by construction companies with low-cost materials that cause overloads when so many electrical appliances are running, but these people just buy them and rent them out and that's it. Something very strange that struck me was that in the house specifications it said that all switch plates should be facing up, meaning that there had already been a problem like this at some point. Well, you make those kinds of specifications because something like that already happened.

Excellent place to rest in Playa del Carmen, very easy to get to, it is comfortable and the facilities are very well equipped (bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room and in my case a terrace with jacuzzi) with air conditioning and fans, it has everything necessary to have a pleasant time, likewise the common areas are very nice. Everything is very clean, tidy and the area is very peaceful, highly recommended! <3

Sí, es excelente, si quieres pagar un precio muy superior al promedio de la zona Y tener constantemente el agua y la electricidad cortados múltiples veces cada mes.

Buen lugar donde quedarse. Los precios están bien. La atmósfera está bien. Los lugareños son muy serviciales. 25 minutos a pie hasta la playa

Pasé 3 noches aquí en enero de 2023, compartiendo un apartamento en dos pisos con 2 camas dobles. El apartamento era elegante, limpio y con todos los muebles y accesorios necesarios. Maravillosa azotea con piscina donde se puede disfrutar de la puesta de sol. El principal inconveniente es la ubicación, un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad.
