The building is nice but there is no air conditioning in the common areas

Muy satisfecha con el apartamento de 3 dormitorios. Encuentras todo lo que necesitas desde platos y electrodomésticos (estufa eléctrica, horno microondas, filtro de café, tostadora, etc.) hasta productos de baño, orgánicos (gel de ducha, jabón líquido, champú, acondicionador), toallas y sábanas blancas, muy limpio y muy bien ubicado en la intersección con la 5ª Avenida, la famosa calle con tiendas, restaurantes, supermercados, farmacias... todo lo que necesitas. ¡Lo recomiendo!

They charge 2 tickets of $210 for tourists. I recommend doing it by bicycle.

YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO SELL IT AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE 1 DAY OF PEACE AND REST LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I MADE THE MISTAKE OF RENTING THE PLACE. These are the details. To start with, to completely deceive you as they deceived me, when you enter the apartment, the place will be exceptionally clean, without a speck of dust and the table was made all well. This is the deception that will be used to make you believe that the place was well maintained. Nothing could be further from the truth. We will talk about it later. Furthermore, all air conditioning units will be turned on to drown out the unbearable noises described below. These are some of the problems: 1) What made unit 212 at Kuxtal apartment unbearable is that around 23 hours a day there is an uneven sound and vibration throughout the apartment. I mean everywhere. There is no escape. It is in all the rooms, in all the bathrooms, in the living room, in the hallways. There is no place to go to find peace. It was real torture during all the months I was there. There was no way to have peace while sleeping at night or to relax during the day while eating, working or watching television. Do not buy the place unless you rent and live there for 1 month first and then you will see. Maybe you arrive there and it's at an odd hour or a few hours of the day when sometimes there is no sound. Also, the sound is sometimes a little harder to notice during the day. SO DON'T BE FOOLED. But once you live there you will clearly hear that it is all-encompassing and absolutely impossible to live in unit 212 of Kuxtal. 2) By far the above was the worst, it made it impossible to live, it will make you lose all your money because if by any chance you accidentally bought this place, once you try to sell, potential buyers will probably discover the truth through google reviews or a website I'm going to make about the horrors of living there and anyone who knows the truth will never buy this dump. Another problem was that even with a booster, most of the time you will not be able to get internet in the 2 outer bedrooms. Only the master bedroom. 3) Apart from the master bedroom, the toilets had very little pressure and frequently clogged, leaving a disgusting mess. 4) The refrigerator is defective in that water accumulates in the fridge and everything in the freezer freezes with freezer burns after a week or so. 5) The master bedroom closet does not open or close properly. 6) Before I left, there was a huge leak in the middle bedroom bathroom that came from the floor above and destroyed the ceiling. It happened when I returned to Canada for a few months to get away from the sound (unfortunately I paid 6 months in advance for rent so I was stuck in this terrible place), and when I returned the mold was terrible. It is likely still there unless they ripped out all the walls and wooden cabinets below as the wooden cabinets also started to buckle and mold. There were more problems, but you get the idea. My apologies to other owners at Kuxtal. I was going to go quietly but Cindy refused to return my deposit when I left the place in excellent condition (as I did for a kind gentleman named Luis who owns 404 and he was very happy with the great condition I left his place in when I rented it and he returned my deposit in just a few weeks). He had ridiculous demands like that I pay for polishing the floors and cleaning 8 chairs (it was just my mother and I and we never had guests and only used the same 2 chairs in the kitchen --- ridiculous). WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY UNIT 212 AT KUXTAL IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN --- AS DETAILED ABOVE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

¡Simplemente un lugar increíble! La ubicación es perfecta, lo suficientemente cerca de todo sin el ruido de la Quinta Avenida. A distancia a pie de excelentes restaurantes y la playa, con una tienda de conveniencia abierta 24 horas en la esquina. Limpio y personal amable. La piscina y el patio en la azotea son excelentes para relajarse y disfrutar. Nuestro Airbnb fue excepcional. Altamente recomendado.
