Living in Selva Norte has been a very balanced experience. What I value most is the feeling of being truly inside the jungle, the environment feels green, peaceful and well integrated with the architecture, which translates into peace and a relaxed atmosphere. The amenities serve their purpose well: the common areas are well thought out, the pools are pleasant and, in general, everything invites you to disconnect without having to leave the condominium. It's a place where you can spend the whole day without feeling like something is missing. In terms of security, it gives me great peace of mind knowing that it's a gated condominium with 24/7 surveillance. The controlled access is noticeable and adds a lot, especially for those of us who value privacy and security in Tulum. One point that really makes a difference is the restaurant within the development. The cuisine is very good, with varied options and affordable prices, which allows you to handle meals without complications. The location also works in its favor: you're far from the noise and hustle and bustle, but at the same time just 5 minutes from the center of Tulum, so getting around is easy when you need it. That balance between tranquility and proximity is, for me, one of the best things about Selva Norte. The Penthouses are incredible, they have a very large rooftop with bathroom and plunge pool and grill, a true luxury, with views of the impressive Jungle.

It's wonderful, I feel the magic of Tulum, a place where you find peace and harmony.

AVOID IT. All appearances and "management" simply dedicate themselves to applying "gaslighting" techniques to avoid any responsibility… Both 2/2 cenotes have been green SINCE THE HURRICANE IN 2021… and they won't fix them… . The gym only has 1 air conditioning unit that barely works and the treadmill is broken (something they get upset about and deny when you report it). -The garbage container is overflowing to the front door! Walking 10 minutes to carry several bags of garbage is ridiculous. There are multiple concrete speed bumps that are too high (enough to damage any vehicle that isn't a tall SUV/4x4..). Your vehicle will scrape the ground several times over a very short distance. Security is useless, they give you problems when entering and problems to your visitor… and management is worse. Management completely lacks customer service, they are rude, arrogant and act like they ARE DOING you a favor by letting you breathe the air in their "residential.. poorly done and poorly managed…". In fact, if you approach them to point out any of these problems… they give you problems and "informational letters according to them for nothing.". + THERE IS PRACTICALLY NO PARKING AVAILABLE because of them…. It's easier to make up a false informational letter because someone pointed that out than to solve the problem….. The few "public" parking spaces available for condo buildings... are half occupied by broken vehicles or… permanently occupied by who knows what vehicles covered or by motorcycles... and obviously it's a team EXCLUSIVELY OF MEN. Naturally they lie, apply gaslighting, and cause you problems for pointing out the issues… and worse yet, they tell you... "you're simply renting, you have no right to ask anything about that... we only give attention and priority to owners". They use GASLIGHT techniques, when you call their attention to real issues… THE FUNNIEST PART.. when I mentioned all the garbage out there, I was told YOU ARE FORBIDDEN FROM TAKING PHOTOS HERE BECAUSE THESE ARE PRIVATE PROPERTIES.. (the photos were of the garbage outside the properties or in public transit areas..) they told me .. "IT'S THE RACCOONS"... of course, THE RACCOONS... they leave bags full of garbage, construction materials, rotten cut trees, piles of moldy leaves and wood around… the raccoons also don't fix things that don't work like the elevators and gym equipment…those raccoons... seriously that people have no INTEGRITY, SPINE, VALUES, EDUCATION OR COMMITMENT whatsoever to do their job... avoid. It's a shame because the location in the jungle is beautiful, shame on the people at SELVA NORTE who ruin the beauty…

Completely away from the center in the middle of the jungle with its own pool and cenote, beautiful place

Esta es una joya oculta en la Selva. Soy propietario de un condominio aquí y para mí es un pequeño pedazo de paraíso. Me encanta que esté escondido en la Selva, las piscinas son hermosas, los condominios y villas son muy bonitos. Me encanta volver aquí.

A beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. Its rustic and natural style creates a very special, silent and relaxing experience. Perfect for those who enjoy nature and an authentic and peaceful atmosphere.

My experience as a condominium resident has been very negative. Over time, the condominium has deteriorated noticeably, which, in my opinion, is due to poor administration and unprofessional management. Decisions seem to be made without clear criteria or planning, which has generated disorganization and a tense atmosphere among residents. From my point of view, this situation has seriously affected the quality of life, coexistence, and the perception of property values, which have progressively deteriorated. This is a personal opinion based on my direct experience, but I consider it important to state it clearly: it is not a place to come and rest. If you are looking for peace, order, and good management, I would seriously recommend evaluating other options before choosing this condominium.

Las calles de alrededor aun no están terminadas, son de terracería por lo que hay que esquivar muchos hoyos. Dentro del complejo hay muy pocos lugares para estacionarse por lo que es difícil o imposible encontrar disponible en temporada alta. Yo fui en Enero 2026

Excellent place to stay and rent on Airbnb, it is recommended to have a car or motorcycle rental since taxis are somewhat expensive.

Highly recommended place to visit Tulum, especially for families and people who want to disconnect in the middle of the wonderful Riviera Maya Jungle. Most of the accommodations in Tulum are designed as if they were city apartments on the beach, Selva Norte keeps all the elements of the jungle and nature. I highly recommend it for long and short stays, plus it has a restaurant within the complex.
