Living in Selva Norte has been a very balanced experience. What I value most is the feeling of being truly within the jungle, the environment feels green, peaceful and well integrated with the architecture, which translates into peace and a relaxed atmosphere. The amenities serve their purpose well: the common areas are well thought out, the pools are pleasant and, in general, everything invites you to disconnect without having to leave the condominium. It's a place where you can spend the entire day without feeling like something is missing. Regarding security, it gives me great peace of mind knowing that it is a gated condominium with 24/7 surveillance. The controlled access is noticeable and adds quite a bit, especially for those of us who value privacy and security in Tulum. One thing that really makes a difference is the restaurant within the development. The food is very good, with varied options and accessible prices, which allows you to handle meals without complications. The location also plays in its favor: you're away from the noise and bustle, but at the same time just 5 minutes from downtown Tulum, so getting around is easy when you need to. That balance between tranquility and proximity is, for me, one of the best things Selva Norte has. The Penthouses are incredible, they have a very large rooftop with bathroom and plunge pool and grill, a true luxury, with views overlooking the impressive Jungle.

It's wonderful, I feel the magic of Tulum, a place where you find peace and harmony.

EVITEN. Puras apariencias y el “management” simplemente se dedican a aplicar tecnicas de “gaslighting” para evitar cualquier responsabilidad… Los 2/2 cenotes son verdes DESDE EL HURACAN EN 2021… y no los van a arreglar… . El gimnasio solo tiene 1 aire acondicionado que apenas funciona y la cinta para correr está rota (cosa que se molestan y niegan cuando reporta uno). -¡El contenedor de basura está hasta la puerta principal! Caminar 10 minutos para cargar varias bolsas de basura es ridiculo. Hay múltiples topes de velocidad de concreto que son demasiado altos (suficientes para dañar cualquier vehículo que no sea un suv/4x4 alto..). Su vehículo tocará fondo varias veces en una distancia muy corta. La seguridad no es útil, te hacen problemas al ingresar y problemas a tu visita… y la administración es peor. La administración les falta por completo la atención al cliente son groseros, prepotentes y actuan como que TE ESTAN HACIENDO un favor que te dejan respirar el aire en su “residencial.. mal hecho y mal gestionado..”… de hecho si te acercas a senalar cualquiera de estos problemas… te hacen problemas y “cartas informativas segun ellos por nada..”. + PRÁCTICAMENTE NO HAY ESTACIONAMIENTO DISPONIBLE por culpa de ellos mismos…. Es mas fácil hacer una carta informativa falsa porque alguien senalo eso que resolver el problema….. Los pocos lugares de estacionamiento PÚBLICO “ disponibles para los edificios de condominios... están medio ocupados por vehículos averiados o … ocupados permanentemente por quién sabe que vehículos tapados o por motocicletas ... y obviamente es un equipo EXCLUSIVAMENTE DE HOMBRES. Naturalmente mienten, aplican el gas lighting, y hacen a uno problemas por senalar las problemas… y peor aún, te dicen... "simplemente estás alquilando, no tienes derecho a preguntar nada de eso... solo damos atención y prioridad a los propietarios". Usan técnicas de GASLIGHT, cuando les llamas la atención sobre temas reales… lo MAS CHISTOSO.. cuando mencione toda la basura que hay por ahí, se me ha dicho ESTA PROHIBIDO QUE TOMES FOTOS AQUÍ PORQUE SON PROPRIEDADES PRIVADAS.. (las fotos eran de la basura por afuera de las propriedades o en areas de transito publico..) me dijeron .. “ES QUE SON LOS MAPACHES"... por supuesto, LOS MAPACHES... dejan bolsas de plástico llenas de basura, materiales de construcción, arboles cortados podridos, montones de hojas y madera mohosas por ahí... los mapaches tampoco arreglan lo que no sirve como los elevadores y el equipamiento del gimnasio…esos mapaches... enserio esa gente no tiene INTEGRIDAD, COLUMNA VERTEBRAL, VALORES, EDUCACIÓN O COMPROMISO alguno para hacer su trabajo... eviten. Lástima porque la ubicación en la selva esta bonita, lastima con la gente de SELVA NORTE que le quitan lo bonito…

Completely away from the center in the middle of the jungle with its own pool and cenote, beautiful place

Esta es una joya escondida en la Jungla. Tengo un condominio aquí y para mí es un pequeño pedazo de paraíso. Me encanta que esté escondido en la Jungla, las piscinas son hermosas, los condominios y villas son muy agradables. Me encanta volver aquí.

A beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. Its rustic and natural style creates a very special, quiet and relaxing experience. Perfect for those who enjoy nature and an authentic and peaceful atmosphere.

My experience as a condominium resident has been very negative. Over time, the condominium has deteriorated noticeably, which, in my opinion, is due to poor management and unprofessional administration. Decisions seem to be made without clear criteria or planning, which has generated disorganization and a tense atmosphere among residents. From my perspective, this situation has seriously affected the quality of life, cohabitation, and the perceived value of the properties, which has progressively deteriorated. This is a personal opinion based on my direct experience, but I consider it important to say it clearly: it is not a place to come and rest. If you are looking for tranquility, order, and good management, I would seriously recommend evaluating other options before choosing this condominium.

The surrounding streets are still not finished, they are unpaved roads so you have to dodge many holes. Within the complex there are very few parking spaces, so it is difficult or impossible to find availability during peak season. I went in January 2026

Excellent place to stay and rent on Airbnb, recommended to have a car or motorcycle rental since taxis are somewhat expensive.

Highly recommended place to visit Tulum, especially for families and people who want to disconnect in the middle of the wonderful Riviera Maya Jungle. Most accommodations in Tulum are designed as if they were city apartments on the beach, Selva Norte keeps all the elements of the jungle and nature. I highly recommend it for long and short stays, and it also has a restaurant within the complex.
